How end-of-service is calculated in Kuwait
Kuwait pays a day-based indemnity using a 26-day month, doubling the rate after 5 years.
Daily wage = monthly salary ÷ 26 working days.
15 days’ pay for each of the first 5 years, then 30 days for each additional year.
On resignation: nothing under 3 years, one-third for 3–5 years, two-thirds for 5–10 years, full at 10+ years.
The total indemnity is capped at 1.5 years’ (18 months’) pay.
