How end-of-service is calculated in Saudi Arabia
Saudi end-of-service is a progressive award on your last wage, reduced if you resign before long service.
Half a month’s wage for each of the first 5 years, then one full month for each subsequent year.
On resignation: nothing under 2 years, one-third for 2–5 years, two-thirds for 5–10 years, and the full award at 10+ years.
On employer termination, the full accrued award is payable.
The award is calculated on the last wage, including fixed allowances per the contract.
An estimate. Special full-entitlement cases (e.g. female workers after marriage/childbirth, force majeure) are not modelled.
